There are three steps to process up-gradation of your panama COC.

Step I: LETTER OF ELIGIBILITY
We need to have LOE from the Panama Consulate to confirm that the candidate is eligible for Up gradation or not.
Duration: 15 working days
Please note that Cost for a letter of eligibility is non-refundable in case of failure.

Please send us the following documents to process the Letter of eligibility.
1. Passport front and back clear scan copy
2. Panama COC
3. Panama CDC with stamp pages
4. Sea service letters
5. Photo and digital signature
6. Panama approved courses. (PST/PSSR/EFA/FPFF/AFF/SSO/MFA/LAT/MEA/PSCRB) (ECDIS/BRM/ROC/ARPA/GMDSS) FOR DECK (ERRM/HV) FOR ENGINE.

Step II: Up-gradation Course
You can start your Up gradation course after your letter of eligibility. If a candidate fails to receive LOE, we can’t process an up-gradation course for him.
Duration: 23 working days

Step III: Assessment and evaluation of Competence
You need to do assessment and evaluation of up-gradation course, after that we can apply for blue-chit in PMA.
Duration: within 2 working days we will receive blue-chit/CRA and hardcopy will be available in next 15 to 20 working days. Also note that to process up-gradation applications candidates should have the entire Panama approved courses, which are compulsory for the renewal process.
