Aim

This course aims to provide the training for candidates in accordance with Part A of the STCW Code in the standard of training ,certification and Watch keeping for seafarers Conventions 1995 as amended in 2010 manila and to achieve those standards set out in chapter II, Section A-II/1, Table A-II/1

Scope & Objective

The syllabus covers the requirements of the 1995 STCW Convention as amended in 2010 manila Chapter II, Section A- II/ 1.On meeting the minimum standard of competence in operational use of Electronic Chart Display and information System , the officer will be competent to operate the ECDIS equipment, use the navigational functions of ECDIS and take proper action in case of malfunction

Entry Standards

The course is designated both for candidates for certification as officer in charge of navigational watch and for experienced nautical officers.

Medical Standard

As per M.S (Medical Examination for seafarers) Rules 2000 as amended from time to time.

Course Certificate

The Candidate after successful completion of the course shall be issued certificate of Bridge Team Management.

Intake

Not Above 20 per class

Required Attendance

100% attendance is required for successful completion of the Course. However, in exceptional circumstances the relaxation can be given for genuine reasons

70 % or Above

Exam

A test will be conducted on completion of the Course

Certificate

After Successfully completion and Passing of Exam A certificate will be issued to the Student certifying that he has successfully completed the Course.
